Today we paid a visit to Bruce Valeriani and recorded our new demo songs. make sure to check them out here at our website. It was a real fun afternoon. The studio looks and sounds really great. With 6 people on the band, 3 of them playing acoustic instruments (sax, flute and congas), it took us 2 hours and a half to get everybody set up and get the volumes just right. I felt sad not to have used by double bass but at the end I realized I made the right choice. On the studio, I was standing between the drums and the congas. Miking the double bass would have been hell on earth. Kudos to my good old Fender Precision. Gotta love that bass. It can sound jazzy, bluesy, funky, reaggae or whatever you want.
